한 신생 의류 브랜드 직원이 본 아이린(Irene whom an employee of a new clothing brand saw) [한/Eng.]

I'm not a stylist, but I'm an employee of a new clothing brand.

For those new brands like us, those on top, Gap, are the stylists and the magazine editors.

It's really grateful if one of our brands' clothes appeal to them so that it appears in magazines or celebrities wear it, so we literally have to grovel.

Only a single call for sponsoring would make us so happy, because they're the ones with power, Gap, to a new brand like us. When we go to bring our stuff [to them] sometimes we can't even see their faces. Once the door was closed, and they told us the password of the restroom so that we can put our brands' clothes there. When there's no enough place to put our clothes there, I had to put our brand's precious clothes or bags on the toilet lid and it broke my heart. ㅠㅠ

Once, a stylist demands one of our clothes unreasonably considering our clothing production schedule. So instead of sending it early to the stylist's waiting room as we usually do, I brought it straight to the photo studio. That was the studio of Irene's magazine photoshoot. I delivered the cloth guiltily and were told that we were late (even when they were the ones who forced the schedule). Then the stylist, complaining at me, roughly got the cloth and threw it [rather than hanging it properly], while other luxurious branded clothes were hung properly.

 

I couldn't just leave like that. I wanted to at least arrange the cloth properly but I was hesitating to do. Then, Irene, who might be watching us nearby, [came to] hold the cloth and told us the cloth was pretty, and thanked us..

It was then that the stylist finally arranged the cloth and hung it properly.

I was so thankful [to Irene] at that time.

 

I was thinking to post this on my SNS [account] after learning about Irene's incident

but I couldn't find the courage to do it, because the stylists or editors might have remembered our brand and would do something against us.

I just wanted to say that Irene isn't someone who is authoritative to the weak and only nice to the strong.

 

Even if I could tell more [opinion about this], I just wanted to say that the Irene I saw was not that kind of person.

 

 

아이린 팬분들이라도 읽길 바라며..

저는 스타일리스트도 아니고 신생 의류 브랜드의 직원입니다.

저희 같은 신생 브랜드에게 최고의 갑은 스타일리스트, 잡지 에디터들입니다. 저희 옷이 그들 눈에 띄여 잡지에 나오거나 연예인이 입어주거나 하면 정말 감사한 일이기 때문에 정말 말그대로 납작 업드려야해요..

협찬 전화라도 오면 너무 기쁘고 신생브랜드 입장에서 그들은 갑이기에 협찬을 요구 하면서 물건 가져다 주로 가면 어쩔때는 얼굴 한번 못보고 문은 닫혀있고 화장실에 비번을 알려주면서 그안에 두라 그럴때도 있었어요.. 막 정말 놓을때도 없어서 변기뚜껑위에 소중한 옷이나 가방을 올려두면 가슴이 찢어집니다 ㅠㅠ

한번은 의류제작 일정이 안맞는데 무리하게 요구를 해서 보통은 스타일리스 사무실로 보내지만 급하게 촬영장으로 직접 옷을 가지고 간적이 있었어요. 아이린씨 잡지 촬영장이였는데 정말 엄청 눈치보면서 옷 전달하고 늦었다고 (무리하게 일정 잡은건 그쪽임에도) 저한테 짜증내면서 옷을 험하게 받아가서 휙 던지더라구요.. 명품옷들은 정말 곱게 걸려있고..

 

그냥 가려다가 못가고 옷이라도 다시 정리 하려고 주춤거리고 있었는데 근처에서 보고있었던건지 아이린씨가 그 스타일리스트한테 눈치 주면서 저희 옷을 들면서 옷이쁘다고 감사하다고 하셨었죠..

그제서야 스타일리스트가 저희 옷을 다시 정리해서 걸더라구요..

그때 정말 너무 감사했었어요..

 

아이린씨 사건을 접하고 저도 sns에라도 글을 올릴까 했는데

그럼 스타일리스트들이나 에디터한테 저희 브랜드가 찍힐까봐

어떤 브랜든지 혹시나 기억하고 어떤 가해라도 갈까봐 용기가 안났습니다.

저는 그냥 아이린씨가 무조건 약자에게 갑질하고 강자에게만 착한 사람은 아니라고 말하고 싶어요.

 

구구절절 더 긴말 보단 적어도 제가 본 아이린씨는 그런 사람이 아니였다는 말 남기고 싶습니다.
